WiLL
Women Living Leadership: Give. Advocate. Volunteer. The mission of WiLL is to improve women and children’s lives by mobilizing the caring power of women.
WiLL capitalizes on the strength of women as philanthropists, advocates and volunteers. It offers the opportunity to step forward and use heart, head and hands engendering change and making investments at critical transition points where systems fail and life keeps moving.
- Tara Sophia Mohr's amazing message to the 2011 WiLL luncheon attendees about each person finding her or his own callings.

I’ve received 15 emails from folks who loved it from first timers to six timers. Allison Koenig said it was perfect and the best ever! The SPIRIT of GIVING was way up. There were so many notes, like never before, saying I wish I could give more.
Giving to date equaled: 2012 dollars raised to this point (tentative): $41,617. Multi-year giving to this point (tentative): $69,425.
I already have so many favorite stories. I’m going to share a few. First, there’s Kathy. My new hero. She did it. she told the truth. She was brave, courageous, honest, full of integrity and inspiring to so many in that room who grew up in violence. Imagine Misha having had the chance to see Kathy and realize who she can one day be! It takes my breath away. There were six people who came to me and said, “Tara was talking to me! How did she know?” So true, how did she know. Finally, the many notes on the cards are always moving but my favorite was one that said something like, I’m a single mom. I would like to give more but I can’t. I would like to get more involved. And she enclosed the $3 she no doubt had with her. Those $3 will always keep my fires burning.

ABOUT WiLL
WiLL works to identify gaps in critical services to women and children in our community and then encourages agencies to work together to develop programs that address those gaps. New and innovative thinking is encouraged and those programs that demonstrate the ability to partner with existing programs to provide new solutions are given the opportunity to apply for funds to carry out their new programs.
Since the inaugural luncheon in the fall of 2006 the women of WiLL have raised over $350,000 for programs to support women and children in transition. In 2011, WiLL is supporting eleven programs. Read more...
