United Arts
When you direct your gift to United Arts Fund, you are changing the future.
Participation in the arts opens up children's worlds and minds, and offers them the skills they need for a bright future. Studies demonstrate that creative expression through the arts teaches kids to be more tolerant and open, allows kids to express themselves creatively, promotes individuality, bolsters self-confidence, and improves academic performance.
In its inaugural year, donations to the fund exceeded $5,000. The Arts Council of Southern Oregon administers donations to the United Arts Fund among arts organizations in Jackson and Josephine counties through a request-for-proposal process.
