Remove Barriers to Getting to Work, to School, to Needed Appointments
Our goal is to remove barriers to transportation that get you to work, to school and to needed appointments. We do this by partnering on Mobility Management with Rogue Valley Transportation District and our Transportation Impact Committee and Active Transportation subcommittee. We partnered with Jackson Care Connect on the Bike Share for the People of Jackson County! And last June, transitioned the Bike Share to Rogue Valley Council of Governments where the program is undergoing promising sustainability reshaping. Look for it now as the Rogue Bike Share – centered in Ashland with one share station remaining in Medford near the bus transfer station.
United We Ride Plan for the Rogue Valley is a Coordinated Public Transit/Human Services Transportation Plan
The 2017-2021 United We Ride Plan for the Rogue Valley is a Coordinated Public Transit/Human Services Transportation Plan that focuses on improving the mobility of three target populations: people with disabilities, older adults and persons of low income. This plan identifies new and continuing unmet transportation needs, identifies and promotes community partnerships to meet mobility needs, and prioritizes responses.
