FUNDING
Application information.
Priorities
United Way of Jackson County's focus areas are education, income, health and transportation. The board of directors adopted these areas at the end of 2008. Some strategies are being implemented while others will be developed over the coming years with many opportunities for stakeholder input. Education is about helping every child to achieve their own fullest potential. Income strategies are about financial stabilization of individuals and families. And health is about reducing risky behaviors and increasing wellness. Transportation aims at removing related barriers to working, pursuing an education or job training, and good health.
Programs will be reviewed through this lens.
